MY AWESOME WEEKEND IN AUCKLAND!!!


On Friday the 3rd  of Feb my family and I went up to Auckland for the 9's. we took the mana bus all the way up to Auckland. It was a 13 hour trip.on our way up we stop at heaps of places like Palmerston north, Rotorua and much more places. when we got to our destination it was night time. my mum called my cousin and he came to pick us up from the bus stop.we went to my uncle Andy's a.k.a(uncle Maui) house and there we had a feed and played with my little cousin. after 20min we left to go to my cousin piri's house and there we stayed the night. Me and my brothers stayed up and played on the PS 4 & PS 3. On Saturday we all got up and started to get ready for the 9's. we were meant to leave the house at 9:00 am but we didn't leave until 11:00 am. my mum was in-charger of cheeking when the bus came. but she was looking at Fridays bus timetable. so my cousin Jah-Jah had a look. we got to the train station in Papakura and we just made it to the train. when we got on the train my uncle Matt said to us " who wants to play a game?" we all said "yo!!" my uncle said to us " see how meany Indians you can make say Britomart." so we were doing the hole way to Newmarket. and in Newmarket we jumped off the train and got on anther one that goes to Kingland. when we got to kingsland we got the the train and walked to Eden park. when we got inside my uncles went to go bet on the teams at the TAB, well everyone ales went to look for our seats and went to go get a feed. when we got to our seats it was to hot so we sat up by the shops. my brothers an sisters and my anuty Jean left early because they were all tired. everyone started to leave when the warriors lost both of their games. when all the games was finished we all got on the train and made our way to Britomart, we got off at Britomart and jumped on a train that goes to Manukau because my uncle want to get some staff so we could dress up as JAH NINJAH'S. so the plane was to get off at Puhinui then jump on the Manukau one, but as we arrived at Puhinui tarin station we all got up and made our way off the train and walked to the seats to sit down, but as we were walking to the seats my brother said "mum and uncle Jimmy is still on the train." we looked at them and my ucnles meat and we just laughed our heads off. when we got to Manukau everything was closed so we went to get some dinner and drinks and went home for a feed. after our feed we play with my cousins dog then went to sleep. On Sunday my uncle went to go get some staff so we could dress up as NINJAH'S. My mum,dad and my uncles all went. they were there for 2 hours. when they got back we all started to dress up. This time we didn't leave the house till like 1;00pm because we were all getting ready and playing around. and we me and my cousins went to drop off the dog. then went to the train station. when we got to Eden park we had most of the games but we made it it for finals and semi finals. My uncles won lost of money that day. The Roosters won the the 9's this year!!

THE TREATY OF WAITANGI;

the treaty of waitangi is a treaty that was first singed on the 6 of February 1840 by the British crown and the Maori chiefs from the north island of New Zealand. The treaty establishes a British governor of New Zealand, recognition Maori ownership of their land, forest and other properties, and give Maori the rights of British subjects. And in return the Maori people ceded New Zealand to Queen Victoria, giving her government the sole right to purchase land. Hobson had planned the singing to occur on the 7 of February however on the morning of the 6 of February, 45 chiefs where waiting ready to sing. around noon a ship carrying two officers from H.M.S Herald naval regalia, he was in fact not expecting the chiefs that day and was wearing his dressing gown or (in plain clothes, except his hat) Hone Heke was the first Maori Chief of Ngapuhi to sing the treaty that day. As each chief singed Hobson said " HE IWI TAHI TATOU" WITCH MEANS (WE ARE ONE POEPLE). two chiefs Marupo and Ruhe protested strongly against the treaty as the singing went on they eventually singed the treaty. 

THE TREATY OF WAITANGI MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME BECAUSE MY PEOPLE SINGED IT. THIS YEAR FOR WAITINGI WEEKEND MY FAMILY AND I ARE GOING TO AUCKLAND FOR THE 9'S
